The first DAVI roundtable brought together 25 participants from government, Crown corporations, academia, tech companies, and Indigenous organisations to map the data and AI landscape across south Vancouver Island.
Participants identified key regional assets, validated the founding assumptions behind the initiative, and began shaping the cluster strategy that DAVI now pursues. The session was conducted under Chatham House rules to encourage candid discussion.
